Give yourself permission to pause, breathe, and simply be. Music has the power to calm the nervous system, quiet mind chatter, and create the conditions for deep rest and renewal. As your body relaxes and your mind grows quieter during this can move over into everyday life. Perhaps outside of class you may find yourself moving through your days with greater peace, clarity, and ease. Through the resonant tones of Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls and other therapeutic instruments, you'll be invited into a peaceful space where body, mind, and spirit can relax, restore, and return to their natural state of balance. We will start the class with some calming, gentle stretches. Absolutely no experience is necessary. Come as you are, bring an open and curious mind, and dress comfortably. Lissee's Bio: Lissee found her way into Sound Healing as a viable therapy when she met Fran Clark in Lafayette, LA in 2014. The feelings of peace and calm and a relaxed nervous system felt wonderful. She decided to pursue using Sound for healing and helping others learn about the healing benefits of Sound. Through this experience, she has come to understand that there is a greater depth to life than what we can see immediately in front of us - connection to Source/God/Spirit can be found within nature and its vibrations. The power of sound healing has helped Lissee on her journey toward transformation and mind, body, and spiritual wellness. As a certified sound healing facilitator, Lissee Spiller has played for hundreds of people across South Louisiana to bring the healing power of sound to the area. Her sessions are filled with healing vibrations from instruments such as frame drums, Tibetan bowls, 528hz chimes, alchemy quartz crystal bowls infused with gemstones and minerals from the earth, a shruti box, ocean drums, shells, and other crystal bowls.
